At Step by Step by Step, Paso a Paso, we strive to create a place where children can come and explore the world around them, make friends, learn about themselves and others, build a great sense of self and develop a love for learning. Our staff will work to develop life-long skills as well as provide experiences that enrich each child's emotional, cognitive, social, intellectual, and creative abilities. Children will constantly be in a learning environment that makes them feel comfortable and safe which will allow them to solve problems and communicate feelings through words, music, art, and other creative means.

Kindergarten Readiness

The curriculum at Step by Step, Paso a Paso was developed to help advance the skills a child needs for social development and kindergarten. We utilize a curriculum developed around kindergarten readiness and play-based interaction. Our curriculum will be taught in English and Spanish. By introducing children to a different language and culture, children will be inspired to explore a world beyond their own. The exposure to a second language holds many substantial benefits that assist in the developmental process of a child. In addition, children are introduced to specialty games, puzzles, and concepts that help introduce and develop critical thinking.

The Necessary Skills Needed To Advance

Our curriculum was also developed with the guidance of many kindergarten professionals; therefore, it is formulated based on the multitude of kindergarten requirements. With six children to every teacher, we strive to meet the needs of all of our students and look to support their future educational endeavors. Our goal is that children will enter kindergarten with a solid foundation and the necessary skills needed to advance and become successful lifelong learners.
